SKY News correspondent Faisal Islam was left looking slightly sheepish after a passer-by stole the spotlight during a live broadcast.
The channel’s Political Editor was just wrapping up a piece to camera at Ayr beach when a local man approached him to ask “Is this for Theresa May coming doon?”
The bemused reporter asked if he could just give them a moment, to which the man responded: “Aye on you go, batter in.”

Islam was covering the Prime Minister’s whistlestop Brexit tour of the UK, with exactly a year to go until the UK exits the EU.
Speaking in Ayr where she visited a textile producer, Mrs May said: “I believe we can negotiate a good agreement which is tariff-free and as frictionless trade as possible, so we maintain those markets in the EU, but also that we open up markets around the rest of the world.
“Brexit provides us with opportunities. I want to see us coming together, the four nations across the United Kingdom.
“We have a very strong union, that is in our interests and it is in our interests to come together and really seize these opportunities for the future.”
