Judy Murray has been tipped to make a new career in comedy after starring in a hilarious new sketch.
The Sunday Post columnist last week made her comedy debut in a BBC Short Stuff viral video alongside actor and stand-up Chris Forbes.
In it, he plays Duncan Murray – the black sheep brother of Jamie and Andy.
After working with Judy, Chris, star of Scot Squad, tipped her to be a showbiz success.
“She was brilliant!” he said. “She was very natural, and has good comic timing. She delivered the lines with aplomb, she has a real turn of phrase. I’ve worked with a lot of professional actors who’ve trained for years and she’s put them to shame! She could be a professional comic actor.”
In the video, Judy is seen talking about the “third” Murray brother — who struggles to even hit a tennis ball. Straight-faced, she admits: “If Andy’s an ace, Jamie’s probably a sharp backhand volley, and Duncan… well Duncan’s probably a foot fault. An unforced error.”
Sunday Post columnist Judy said: “It was good fun. I was approached to do this by the Beeb and Chris and I’m always up for a laugh.”
