CELTIC defender Mikael Lustig believes one of the key ingredients to their success this season is that they are never satisfied.
The Ladbrokes Premiership leaders have won 34 out of 36 domestic games under Brendan Rodgers but two draws, against Inverness and Rangers, still rankle with Lustig.
The Sweden international told the Celtic View: “This club is a massive club and the fans always want us to win so the pressure is always going to be there, but it feels good.
“Compared to last season, where we won the league but we struggled a little bit, it’s been nice to play better football and win more games.
“The manager demands a lot from us as players. We’re never satisfied now. We win a lot of games but we try to reach new goals and try to play better football and that’s why I think results have been good.
“We play for Celtic and we always want to win. Of course, if we draw, drop points or even lose a game we know it’s not good enough.
“We go into every game now like it’s a cup final. We always have 100 per cent focus on our next game and that’s why I think we’re doing so well.
“The standard is so high now. Sometimes you can win a point or drop two points but both games we’ve drawn this season, we’ve lost a goal right at the end of the game and I think that’s why it feels like a defeat.”
