IT must be difficult enough when you’re pregnant without having the world’s press pointing its cameras at you.
But Khloe Kardashian – sporting a baby bump – is handling it all brilliantly.
When it comes to being the most famous family in the world it’s probably between the Kardashians and the Trumps.
I’m not sure who’s had more negative press, though!
I’ve always said that Khloe is the one in Clan Kardashian that has her head screwed on and can see through all the reality TV nonsense.
I rang 33-year-old Khloe last week to talk about her pregnancy with basketball star Tristan Thompson – and she looked stunning.
She kept her pregnancy under wraps for months by remaining tight-lipped on social media and wearing loose-fitting clothing, so it’s a relief for her to be finally able to talk about it.
“People became so obsessed. I was saying, ‘Trust me, you guys are going to know eventually, I’m just waiting until it’s the right time’.
“But it feels good to announce it…and not be wearing tight clothes.”
For Khloe – who was spotted a couple of days ago wearing what looked like an engagement ring – the timing of her pregnancy is perfect.
“I was so nervous to announce it,” she added. “To have everyone’s positive and loving support is wonderful. I feel so lucky, I hear horror stories, but I’ve been so lucky. I’m just happy this is happening in my life right now. I feel so ready.”
My old pal Allan Stewart has been spending a few days with me here in LA before heading back to the scene of his many Panto triumphs at the Kings Theatre, Edinburgh for his Big, Big Variety Show, from February 27 to March 3.
He last worked with his special guest stars The Three Degrees over 30 years ago…was it something he said?
“No,” said Allan “The girls were living next door to me in Paignton when we all did summer season together and they were actually there the night I proposed to my now wife Jane and we all got on really well.
“Little did I know that when they uttered the immortal words, ‘When Will I See You Again?’ it would be three decades later…!”
One of my favourite funny men Fred MacAulay will also be on the bill – check it out, it’s sure to be a brilliant show.
