KYLE LAFFERTY has moved a step closer to a return to Rangers.
According to the Daily Record, Hearts have agreed a fee with the Ibrox club for the striker’s services.
The Northern Ireland international was at Rangers from 2008 to 2012, leaving after a summer of financial turmoil left the Glasgow side in the Third Division.
He won three league titles in his time at Ibrox and would become Steven Gerrard’s 12th signing.

Hearts had rejected previous bids from Rangers, thought to be in the region of £200,000.
Now though, he’s set to undergo a medical and finally make his return after weeks of speculation.
Lafferty, who played for Sion, Palermo and Norwich before returning to Scottish football with Hearts, would be eligible to be registered as a wildcard for Thursday’s Europa League clash with FC Ufa.
The deadline for that is midnight.
