JEREMY CORBYN is set to make a guest appearance at an event in Kirkcaldy’s Kitty’s Nightclub later this month.
The Labour leader will join local bands and musicians at The Big Band Bash on August 25.
The event is being organised by the Kirkcaldy YMCA and has been supported by local MP Lesley Laird.
Kirkcaldy YMCA general secretary Liz Easton told The Courier: “There’s a real buzz going about.
“We’ve got performers of all political persuasions but they see it as a great thing to do. What a person to bring to the town. If it’s good enough for Glastonbury, it’s good enough for Kirkcaldy.”
The YMCA group have been running music projects for young people in the Fife town, with many performing at the Bash.
