AH, the love lives of celebrities.
We love hearing about the glamour of a Hollywood romance, don’t we?
In my day you’d be lucky to get a blurry paparazzi shot of a couple of starlets out for dinner at a Beverly Hills hotspot.
But Hollywood reporters needn’t lurk in the bushes any longer.
These days we get minute-by-minute updates on the romantic ins and outs of Taylors, Kims, Calvins and Khloes direct from the stars’ very own Tweets, Instagrams and Snapchats.
Take Lady Gaga last week.
Sadly she announced, via Instagram, that her and fiancé Taylor Kinney were taking a break.
Things aren’t so bad for Gaga, though. She recently got her driving licence but only a few weeks after passing got pulled over by the Pacific Coast Highway Patrol.
In true rock star style, her entourage, showing solidarity, pulled over too.
So at the side of the road from Malibu you could see a white Rolls Royce, a black four-wheel drive and a red Ford pick-up truck. Can you believe the quirky Miss Gaga was actually driving the truck?
Meanwhile for Leonardo DiCaprio, it seemed his latest relationship was announced not via Instagram… but via InstaGRAN.
Leonardo’s new girlfriend is 24-year-old Nina Agdal and her granny has stepped forward to say Leo needs to behave himself when it comes to her granddaughter.
If he doesn’t treat Nina nicely, gran said chillingly, Leo will have her to deal with.
Perhaps Leo could take a role in the next Star Trek film? He seems to be starring in the Wrath of Gran anyway.
Leo’s new beau is – surprise, surprise – a supermodel.
She is, as you’d expect, quite good looking.
How is it that there are no normal models anymore? They’re all super ones.
It’s like how there’s no such thing as a football player these days – they’re all football stars.
Anyway, Leo – you’ll need to be careful unless you want a red card from Nana Nina.
I read last week that Nina is the TENTH Victoria’s Secret underwear model that he’s dated.
It was accompanied by a piece from a writer wondering if 41-year-old Leo was living the dream or in fact just quite lonely.
Well, it’s a complicated topic and…no, hang on. Living the dream. He’s definitely living the dream.
