LIDL UK is launching its first ever Organic Prosecco Spumante this week, just in time for party season.
The wine has Prosecco-lovers all in a fizz as there’s a chance that it could be hangover free!
The dreaded hangover is sometimes attributed to sulphite preservatives used in wine to keep them fresher for longer.
Generally, organic wine producers use a lower level of sulphites in the production process, which means they are less likely to contribute to hangovers.
So if you don’t react well to sulphites, you could be saying good riddance to hangovers with Lidl’s Organic Prosecco Spumante.
The limited edition bubbly will hit stores this Thursday (12th October) and will cost just £7.99.
The cellars used for producing the Lidl Organic Prosecco Spumante are cleaned purely with recycled water, and the vineyards are managed without the use of chemical fertiliser, herbicide, pesticides and insecticides.
Due to the less intensive farming practice the grapes are able to fully express their flavour. Our Organic Prosecco, made using native Glera grapes from the Veneto region, is well balanced, not too dry and has bright aromas of pear and white peach.
The Prosecco is available while stocks last, but if you don’t get a bottle this week fret not, as Lidl’s Organic Prosecco Spumante will be in stores again from 30th November for another limited period, just in time for Christmas!
