Hibs have announced the departure of manager Shaun Maloney after just four months in charge.
The former Scotland international, who was only appointed manager in December, departs the club following the weekend’s derby defeat to Hearts in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
The 39-year-old had also failed to guide the Edinburgh side to a top six finish.

Hibs executive Chairman Ronald J Gordon said in a statement: “Our hope in appointing Shaun Maloney as a young, highly regarded coach was that he would help us take the club forward, but ultimately it didn’t work out.
“We thank Shaun and his coaching staff for all their hard work and efforts and wish them all the best for the future.”
Coaches Gary Caldwell, Valerio Zuddas and Brian Doogan have also left the club with immediate effect.
David Gray will take charge as caretaker manager for the remainder of the season, supported by Eddie May and Jon Busch.
