WE all feel pressure to eat healthier in January.
But Euan Shaw from Torrance got a shock when he tore into a multi-pack of his favourite Seabrook Cheese and Onion crisps.
He found two out of the six packets were completely empty.
“There was nothing in the packet apart from air!” said Euan.
“It was sealed but completely empty, like one of those airbags Amazon uses to fill boxes.
“I took out another one and it was exactly the same! Luckily, the third packet actually had crisps in it.”
The six-pack had been bought from an Asda in Bishopbriggs for £1.
“It’s not what you want to find when you’re taking a break from physics revision. Talk about a disappointment,” added Euan.
“I know they’re putting fewer crisps in the packet nowadays but how on earth did these ones get out of the factory?”
A spokesperson for Seabrooks said: “It’s most unusual. We prefer any consumer that has an issue with a product get in touch and send that product back in.
“We would send them a voucher in the short term while we investigate the complaint further.”
It’s just lucky Euan didn’t pick up salt and vineg-air crisps instead…
