Meet Blair, my wee smiler
Introducing my first grandchild, Blair, who is 10 weeks old. He was born at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital on November 5, to our eldest daughter, Emma, 38, and her partner Michael Willox, 36.
Here I am holding my special boy. Blair is always smiling and laughing, such a little character already. He’s gorgeous and we’re all over the moon with him.
Up, up and away
For my mum Marie’s 80th we went up in a hot air balloon from my cousin’s farmhouse in North Wales. We all loved it. From left to right: my friend Chunlan Yi, Dave, my cousin Di, mum, the pilot, my brother Don, brother-in-law Grenville Christophers, Chunlan’s daughter Jenny, me, my cousin’s husband Mike and Marie, my cousin.
The greatest gift
The whole family got together for a pre-Christmas lunch at Edinburgh Castle, organised by the National Trust for Scotland.
I thought it was a great idea to gift one another’s company instead of buying presents.
From left to right: my son Angus, Dave, Angus’s fiancée Zahra, my son-in-law Gary Falconer, me, my youngest daughter Rachel, Michael and Emma.
Special family
This picture is bittersweet. It was planned as a four-generations photo featuring my mum but sadly she died aged 96 weeks before Blair was born.
She was an amazing lady. We decided to celebrate Blair’s arrival with his aunty and great-aunties. From left to right: my sister Rene Christophers, who is 60 today, me with Blair, sister-in-law Karen Ewen, Rachel and Emma.
