Every week, we ask a reader to open their photo album for us.
Busy working mum and gran, Linda Grant, 61, has two grown-up children and two grandchildren.
Stirling-born and bred, Linda works as a retail assistant in Falkirk and lives in Bo’ness with husband, Jim, 71.
Special guest
I’m a proud mum to daughter Jemma and son Jack. Jemma is a dental nurse who is studying for her practice manager’s qualification. Jack works in recruitment consultancy and lives in Sydney, Australia. He visited us in June and it was fabulous seeing him – hence this photo. We’ll meet up again in January when Jim and I head Down Under.
A big day out
My adopted home town of Bo’ness holds its annual Fair Day every June. It’s always a huge celebration and this year was extra-special because it took place during Jack’s trip home from Australia. This is my favourite photo from the day with all the family together.
Picnic pals
Grandchildren Max, 11, and Orla, six, are a huge part of our lives. It’s a real joy being around them. They are so much fun to spend time with. They keep us on our toes and natter non-stop. We love a day out, and there’s nothing better than a picnic on a sunny, summer’s day. This picture, of Orla and I, was taken during a trip to beautiful Beecraigs Country Park in West Lothian.
Perfect couple
Here’s me with hubby Jim during a recent visit to St Andrews. Some of our good pals have a holiday home there and we’re lucky to be able to visit often. Jim loves his golf so he loves St Andrews, while I love all the shops and restaurants, so everyone’s happy. We always have a great time. Roll on our next trip!
