Office manager Tracey Rattray is 53 and lives in Westhill, Aberdeenshire, with her husband Mike, 55.
The couple have one cherished grandson Blair, 11 months.
Dog-lover Tracey, who works in Aberdeen’s city centre, loves nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, as well as walking, swimming, reading, and enjoying holidays abroad.
What a wedding!
Our daughter Claire, 30, married Murray, 36, at Raemoir House Hotel, Banchory, on Royal Deeside in August 2017. It was an amazing day.
They had the service outside, which just had to include a heavy shower of rain, with most guests opting to use the seat cushions as umbrellas!
This is a snap from the day of (from left to right), Mike, myself, Claire, her groom Murray, and his mum and dad Marilynn and Dick Leitch.
Messin’ about
We could not be more thrilled with Blair, our grandson who arrived last March. He makes us smile every day. The past 11 months have flown by.
We just love him to bits and are so looking forward to his first birthday.
In this photograph, he is at messy play – which he loves.
Partying with ER
This is Mike and I at the Royal Garden Party at Balmoral in 2012, hosted by the Queen to round-off her main Diamond Jubilee celebrations in the UK.
It was the first time a garden party had been held there since the Golden Jubilee in 2002.
Mike is originally from nearby Ballater, and a member of the local charity, Charitable Chiels, who do a lot for the village.
We felt very honoured. It was such a lovely, memorable day.
A dog’s life
This is our golden retriever, Kyle, who we had for just under 14 years until we lost him in November 18.
We miss him every day. He was a larger than life character who tested us on a daily basis.
If I didn’t work full- time and had the space, I would have a quite a few dogs.
I follow Perthshire Gundog Rescue and admire owner Carol Begg so much for her dedication to helping people and their dogs.
