Organisers of the Melting Pot x Heverlee festival have shared the final additions to the line-up ahead of a bank holiday weekend of music in Glasgow’s Southside.
Shakara, Polka Dot Disco Club, KTAB & Jay Gunning will join the party on April 30 and May 1, alongside The Big Feed street food market.
After previous years’ sell-out events, this 2022 festival will take place in a new location in Queen’s Park, moving to the Recreation Grounds.
The event will have a big top tent to make sure the party can continue whatever the weather.
One of Glasgow’s most exciting new talents, DJ, producer and Radio Buena Vida host KTAB, joins the line-up for the Optimo event on the Saturday.
Known for hosting parties founded on inclusivity, good vibes and good music, Glasgow duo Shakara will also be joining Sunday’s Disco Sessions line-up, as well as Scottish DJ collective Polka Dot Disco Club who aim to empower women, trans and non-binary people.
Project Radio resident Jay Gunning also joins the Sunday line-up.
As well as a big top tent, there will be a dedicated Heverlee Village on site with its own stage, seating areas and bar.
The tented village also boasts its own line-up curated by Electric Shores, featuring some of the best DJs and artists from Glasgow including Project Radio and Radio Buena Vida.
Heverlee will also be welcoming renowned Glasgow graffiti artist, Conzo Throb who will be creating live street art from the festival floor.
