MISSING Karen Brown has been found safe and well in Glasgow, police have said.
The 47-year-old travelled to London from her home in Clydebank on October 14.
She was spotted on CCTV last week, but there were no further confirmed sightings for several days.
Police Scotland confirmed this afternoon that she had been found safe and well in Glasgow city centre.
In today’s Sunday Post, we told how her husband Jock travelled south to London yesterday in the hope of meeting her outside toy store Hamleys.
He had issued an appeal for her to meet him there and join him on his journey home that evening.
Today he wrote on Facebook: “On behalf of Karen & I, I wish to thank Police and everyone on Facebook that helped by sending best wishes to us during this tough time. Karen is now safe at home.”
Inspector John McMillan of Dumbarton Police Station said: “It is great news that Karen has come back to Glasgow and she is now heading home to her family.
“I would like to thank both the public and the media for their tremendous response to our appeal.
“The information and assistance provided by both has without doubt been the vital link in our inquiries and has led to Karen being found.”
