Claire Ferguson is a photographer, wild swimmer and all-round adventurer sharing her love of bonnie Scotland with the world.
She shared her top three spots with us.
Fidden Farm Campsite
We’ve spent a few holidays here and it’s just the gift that keeps on giving.
Fidden Farm Campsite is most definitely one of Scotland’s best locations for a sunset – right over Isle of Iona. Mull is a wonderful island filled with so much to see and do, places to eat and honesty boxes to support.
Fyrish Monument
Fyrish is one of those walks that will take your breath away, literally.
It’s a special place to me that I will always cherish so of course I had to share it at sunrise. What a night and morning that was.
I highly recommend you go and take in the views overlooking Cromarty on a clear day. Sunrise, sunset, autumn and winter are my favourite times to be up there.
Findhorn Bay
Findhorn was always going to be on the list. Everyone knows how much I love it here. It’s my go to spot to switch off, breathe and relax.
There are so many amazing places to enjoy lunch, drinks and seafood either in Findhorn or close by.
I recommend Torta, Findhorn, The Crown & Anchor, Findhorn and Bootleggers Bar & Grill in Hopeman.
Findhorn now has a wonderful new addition with Findhorn Sands offering their new eco lodges, I think this will be a great hit with the area and helping bring in more tourism.
