If you come across Pippa Perriam, chances are you will find her trying out the newest foodie spot in town or planning her next weekend adventure.
Though she is based in Edinburgh, her travels have taken her across the globe and she keeps the recommendations and reviews coming as she goes.
We asked Pippa for her top three spots she has visited so far this year.
Glen Dye
My favourite place to stay in Scotland. The cabins and cottages here have such a special atmosphere and their newly opened Activity and Adventure Centre provides a whole host of fun things to do while you’re there – the cold water therapy in the woods makes for a refreshing start to your day.
Dunkeld
A positive foodie’s paradise with places like Aran Bakery, The Taybank and Redwood Wines. I love visiting here at all times of year but autumn is my favourite with the falling leaves at The Hermitage -ending of course with a fresh cinnamon sugar doughnut from Full Circle Doughnuts in the car park.
The Kinneuchar Inn
A brilliant little restaurant nestled just back from the coast in Fife serving up seasonal dishes with local ingredients. Their freshly baked madeleines for dessert are not to be missed and keep an eye on their socials for when they announce their occasional fried chicken pop-ups.
