Greenwoods
Greenwoods is my go to place for brunch in Edinburgh.
The team go above and beyond to welcome anybody that visits this gorgeous restaurant. The menu changes regularly and uses fresh seasonal produce so there’s always something new to try.
Perfect every time.
The Cobbler
The Cobbler is a Corbett located near the head of Loch Long in Argyll and Bute.
The path leading up is steady but there’s a bit of a scramble to the summit. This mountain reminds me of The Land of Giants with big boulders and rolling hills all around.
Nothing could have prepared me for the breathtaking views at the top though. And if you’re brave enough you can ‘thread the needle’ through a pretty precarious rock formation. I didn’t!
Shetland Islands
The Shetland Islands are located roughly 100 miles off the north east coast of Scotland and are the northern most point of Scotland.
We island hopped using ferries and a hire car and it was so easy getting around. We had so much fun peeking through honesty boxes that are located all over the islands but my true highlight was meeting the wild Shetland ponies on the island of Unst.
