Ashley McAfee and Stuart Conway are a creative duo based in Glasgow who have combined their love for travel with their skills in photography.
Through their blog and social media pages, On the Road Again Travels, they give you a peek inside the most gorgeous accommodation you can find across Scotland – along with sharing the best views, walks and grub to grab along the way.
Here are some of their favourite places they have found so far.
Three Lochs Forest Drive
Three Lochs Forest Drive, located in The Trossachs is one of our favourite scenic drives.
We often book a permit and park up in our campervan for the night surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect spot for paddle boarding and a great base for nearby hikes including Ben A’an and Ben Venue.
Brucefield Estate Schenbothies
The Brucefield Estate Schenbothies are magical cabins located in Clackmannanshire.
We love the unique design of these cabins with their quirky mezzanine level and log burners. The outdoor fire pit, balcony and woodland walks make it the perfect getaway for nature and wildlife lovers.
For us, it’s a place to slow down and appreciate the simple things.
Straloch Wild Picnics
One of our favourite dining experiences was a beautiful wild picnic at Straloch Estate in Perthshire.
On arrival you are whisked away on an off-roading experience in the estate’s Land Rover to reach the Lunch Hut. Greeted with the most incredible spread, the food is fantastic and the Biscoff Cheesecake is to die for.
