Tracy Chalmers is based in Keith in Moray, but ventures beyond the area to explore the best Scotland has to offer.
She is a keen walker, avid campervan traveler and lover of shopping and eating local.
We asked Tracy for her favourite spots she has found on her travels so you can pay them a visit before the weather turns.
Cullen
I love going to the seaside and Cullen is the nearest to my home in Keith. Cullen has lovely walks, a great heritage centre, plenty of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and of course ice cream. But nothing quite beats a walk along the beach and a hot chocolate from Coffee At The Kings. Great new additions are the sauna at the Kings and the motorhome aire.
Port Stoth Beach, Isle of Lewis
We found this beach by accident on the way to the Butt of Lewis lighthouse. No sooner had we stopped the van and I was in the back getting changed into my swimsuit. This beautiful beach has to be one of the best wild swimming spots in Scotland.
Sunset at Ullapool
Beautiful sunsets are always a wonderful experience but Ullapool sunsets just hit differently. There is nothing quite like heading down to the shingle beach from the Broomfield Campsite to sit and watch the sun go down. Hands down for me my favourite view in Scotland.
