Misty Isle Boat Tour

One of the best ways to observe the beauty of Skye is catching the Misty Isle from Elgol over to Coruisk. Between the stunning views, time to roam over at Coruisk and a wee hot cuppa and a biscuit provided at the end, there’s nothing not to love. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a spy of a dolphin or two on the way over as well!

If you’re passing through Skye, The Coffee Bothy is a must stop for refuelling. They have local Skye coffee, homemade cakes and delicious lunch bites that never disappoint. You’ll often find the owner’s dog Jynx at the door happy to welcome you too, which is always a plus.

Borodale House is the only whisky distillery where you can stay overnight in the same building as a working distillery. Set in a gorgeous Victorian villa transformed into a whisky hotel offering distillery tours, this is such a little gem for anyone hopping on the ferry over to Raasay.
