Amber Ojak is a foodie blogger based in Edinburgh.

As Edible in Edinburgh, she reviews and shares her favourite spots to eat across the city and beyond, as well as travel tips and places to stay in Scotland.

We asked her for her top three places to visit so you can follow in her footsteps.

The Hermitage

A gorgeous walk in Dunkeld. Image: Amber Ojak

The Hermitage walk is situated in the stunning area of Dunkeld. The walk incorporates some of the best of Scottish nature from a wooded glen and waterfalls to ancient bridges. In the summer you are sometimes able to see an abundance of wildlife, but I love this walk during any season.

Nixos Greek Street Food

Definitely try the gyros. Image: Amber Ojak

If you want authentic, fresh Greek food then Nixos in Portobello is the place for you. The best chicken gyros I have tasted around Edinburgh has to go to these guys. They are super friendly and local, so you need to pay them a visit.

Gullane

The perfect trip to the seaside not too far from home. Image: Amber Ojak

Gullane in East Lothian is one of my favourite places outside of Edinburgh due to the beauty of its beach. The long stretch of white sand combined with its cleanliness is a must for seaside lovers.
