In the wake of the storm’s devastating impact on parts of Texas, he took to Twitter to try to help out in any way he could.
Donations hit a $200,000 target within a couple of hours and celebrity backers including Ellen DeGeneres and Miley Cyrus helped push the total into the millions.

The Tennessee Titans also donated a million dollars to the relief effort.
Watt, who has also made his own personal donation, told CNN: “I’m not just here for the initial fundraiser, I’m here to make sure that we take care of [those affected] down the road.”
The next goal is £15 million dollars.
