RANGERS held on with just nine men to draw with Russian side Ufa and progress to the Europa League group stages.
Liverpool loanee Ovie Ejaria opened the scoring with a sublime strike after just nine minutes, giving Steven Gerrard’s side a crucial away goal.
Ufa’s equaliser came through Dmitri Sysuev after 32 minutes, and just five minutes later Rangers’ task was made a whole lot more difficult as striker Alfredo Morelos was dismissed after picking up two yellows within seconds of each other.

With Ufa in the ascendancy, Rangers were left to see out the final 25 minutes with just nine men after defender Jon Flanagan received a second booking.
The Ibrox side weathered a storm late in the game, with Allan McGregor pulling out a stunning stop to deny Sylvester Igboun.
And deep into injury time Ufa had the ball in the back of the net, but the referee blew for a foul.
It means Rangers’ name will be in the hat for tomorrow’s group stage draw in Monaco.
