OLIVER BURKE has played his way into Alex McLeish’s thoughts after just four games in a Celtic shirt.
The West Brom winger hasn’t played for the senior side since March, 2017, when Gordon Strachan axed him after a friendly at home to Canada.
However, the success of the 21-year-old’s loan switch to the Hoops, which has seen him score twice, hasn’t gone unnoticed by McLeish and his assistants.
And with Leigh Griffiths still on leave to deal with his personal issues, the man who has commanded some £28-million in transfer fees is in contention for a call up for the upcoming Euro qualifiers against Kazakhstan and San Marino.
