HE’S normally seen scouting about on the lookout for PC Murdoch.
But Oor Wullie is set for another scouting adventure next summer – when he takes part in the 24th World Scout Jamboree.
The event will see 45,000 young adventurers gather from around the world in the US.

He said: “We needed something that said Scottish-ness and nothing says that like Oor Wullie.”
Scott Mathieson, head of licensing at DC Thomson Media, said: “It is a fantastic chance to introduce Scotland’s favourite son to a whole new generation of young people.”
