Yesterday saw the official launch of Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail, which sees 200 specially created Oor Wullie statues popping up across the country in aid of Scotland’s children’s charities.
From Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow to the V&A in Dundee, Scotland’s favourite scamp is appearing across the length and breadth of the country.

The Oor Wullies will be on the streets of Scotland for 11 weeks from June 17 to August 30, covering 700 miles.
Each life-sized sculture has been individually designed by 100 artists, each reflecting a unique aspect of Scotland’s diverse cultrue.
At the end of the summer, the statues will be auctioned off and the money raised will be used to support the work of Scotland’s children’s hospital charities including Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Edinburgh’s Children’s Hospital Charity and The ARCHIE Foundtion.
