JET-SETTING Outlander star Sam Heughan admits he feels lost without his running shoes.
The actor makes sure his trainers are the first thing in his suitcase because he always gets to know new places by going for a jog.
Sam, 37, has just spent several months shooting his new movie, The Spy Who Dumped Me, in Los Angeles and Amsterdam.
He said: “When I go away, my must-have items, boringly, are my running shoes. The best way to know a city is to strap on your running shoes, go out and get lost. You’ll eventually learn the city, one way or another.”
Sam, from New Galloway, plays Highlander Jamie Fraser in the US television fantasy drama Outlander.
