PUT your paws up… It’s time for a disco with a difference!
Sunday 11th June will see the launch of Aberdeen’s first doggy disco, where lucky pets will have access to paddling pools, a dog pall pit and even musical statues.
The fun event was dreamt up by Stuart MCPhee, general manager of Siberia Vodka Bar, and photographer Stuart Taylor.
Mr McPhee, 26, proud owner of miniature dachshunds Link and Lorne, told the Evening Express: “We’ve had a lot of interest already and we only have space for 15 dogs per session as there’s a lot going on.
“The disco will take place out the back at Siberia and we’re really looking forward to getting everyone and their dogs along. I think it’s the first doggy disco in Aberdeen so we’re pulling out all the stops.”
The event will taking place over six hourly sessions between 1pm and 7pm and will raise money for charity Guide Dogs.
Not just a chance to boogie, guests will also be able the browse the goodies on offer at the stalls, which will include doggy bow ties, treats and leads. There will also be “prosecco” and “beer” for the pets to enjoy.
Tickets for the Doggy Disco cost £10 per dog per session.
