EAGLE-EYED Guardian readers have spotted something odd in today’s crossword puzzle.
People have taken to social media to highlight the fact that the answers ‘Sturgeon’ and ‘racist’ appear side-by-side.
While some have recognised that this is most likely a coincidence, others are claiming it looks like an anti-SNP conspiracy theory.

Although Mr Barrie here states this was probably accidental, he does suggest that the crossword should have been given a once over to avoid offence.
