Miss Piggy is a gorgeous Patterdale terrier-cross looking for her new forever home! She is being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Angus, Fife and Tayside Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
She is a very affectionate dog who loves sitting on your lap getting cuddles or snoozing next to you.
She loves human company and will likely need someone who is home most of the time as she can get distressed when left alone. She can also be quite vocal, especially if she hears other dogs barking.
Miss Piggy unfortunately had to have both her eyes removed when she arrived at the Society but she is very confident when out and about and you’d hardly be able to tell she was blind! Because of this she will have to be walked on a lead at all times.
She will need to go to a home with no young children where she is the only pet in the house. She would like a home with a garden to enjoy some off-lead exercise.
Because she is blind she can be wary of other dogs approaching her and she can occasionally react to other dogs when out on a walk. Miss Piggy will need to go to a knowledgeable dog owner with experience of owning terriers and their quirks.
If you can give Miss Piggy the special home she is looking for, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/6819-miss-piggy
