Pet of the Week: Could you give Hovis the Staffordshire bull terrier cross a new forever home?

Hovis the Staffordshire bull terrier cross is a strong girl with a big heart looking for an active home.
She arrived in the care of the Scottish SPCA as a stray and is now patiently waiting for her loving forever home.
She loves to be out and about playing with her toys, chasing after bouncy balls and playing tug of war.
Hovis knows some basic commands like sit and paw, but she is not the type of girl who aims to please, if she gets fed up waiting for her treat she will just go and do her own thing!
Hovis has not had much socialisation around other dogs and gets very distressed when a dog approaches her, and due to this Hovis cannot be homed with another dog and will need to be kept on a lead and muzzled when out and about.
Hovis would be best suited to an owner who has experience with her dog issues, in an adult only home with no other pets.
If you think you could give Hovis the home she needs, contact the Lanarkshire centre on 03000 999 999.
