Izzy is a three year old cross breed who is ready to find her new forever home.
She is currently in the care of the Scottish SPCA Angus, Fife and Tayside Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
Izzy was very nervous when she first arrived at the centre. It took her a long time to get used to her new environment.
Once she gets to know you, she is a very affectionate but she will need an experienced owner who is willing to put in the time and effort needed to gain her trust. Because of this, she would not suit a first-time owner.
She is a bundle of energy who loves lots long walks and plenty of playtime. She will need a large, enclosed garden to run around in, with a high fence as she’s got a big jump for a small dog.
She is very bouncy and can be mouthy at times, so she will need further training to learn some manners. Because of her excitement, she can pull quite a bit on the lead when starting her walk. Once she has calmed down however, she walks quite well.
Izzy would prefer an adult only home where there are no other animals so she can be the centre of attention.
If you can offer Izzy a loving home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website.
