Koba is a male, three year old, Alaskan malamute cross.
He is currently being cared for at the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, while he waits for his forever home.
Koba has as much energy as he does love, and he would be best suited to an owner who understands his breed. He has a high prey drive so he must be kept on a lead on walks and could not live with cats or other small animals.
He loves to go for walks and would love an active owner. Koba loves to explore using all five of this senses, and would enjoy having a secure garden of his own to do this in.
Whilst in the care of the Scottish SPCA he has taken part in walks with other dogs, but meetings are generally on Koba’s terms.
For this reason he would prefer to be the only dog in the household, and his new owner would need to continue his socialisation training.
He would also appreciate being the only child in his new home.
If you think you could give Koba his new home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: scottishspca.org.uk/rehome-a-pet/3125-koba
