Teile is a female lurcher who is between five and eight years old, and is still searching for her forever home.
She is currently in the care of the Scottish SPCA Highlands and Islands Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
You could not find a happier, more loyal dog than Teile, but sadly she keeps being overlooked!
She is a very happy girl who adores attention. She is always happy to see you and has a very playful nature. She loves to bounce about and has lots of energy so would suit an active home.
Teile isn’t keen on being left alone and will howl until you come back. She gets quite anxious when left even for short periods so will need a new owner who is around most of the day.
When she has human company Teile is very relaxed at home and is a typical lazy hound. However, her new owners will need to be prepared to have a shadow as she does like to follow you everywhere you go!
Teile has been kept on a lead when not in an enclosed area while in the care of the Scottish SPCA, but her previous owner advised she does have very good recall. She does however have a high prey drive and will sometimes try to chase small dogs
Teile has previously lived with canine company and does enjoy being walked with other dogs but the Scottish SPCA feel she would be better rehomed as the only pet as she doesn’t always get on with other dogs, depending on her mood!
Teile would make a fantastic companion. If you think you have room in your home and heart for her, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website.
