Spike is a 10 year old cross breed who is looking for a retirement home to live out his golden years.
He is currently in the care of the Scottish SPCA Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
Despite his age, Spike still has so much energy and loves to go for adventures or have a run about.
Ideally, Spike is looking for a quiet home where he can spend the rest of the days enjoying plenty of TLC.
He loves human attention but can get anxious when he is left alone. He definitely likes his home comforts and will snuggle in and lie across his person on the couch. He also prefers to sleep in your bed rather than his!
Spike enjoys playing with his toys so he would love to live in a home where he has direct access to a secure garden. This would allow him to fling his toys around without a care in the world. Spike also enjoys his walks, but he is very strong on the lead and walks better when wearing a harness.
Spike is looking for an adult only home or one with older children, where he will he will be the only pet so he can have all the attention for himself. Spike will have exclusions on any pet insurance due to ear issues.
Spike still has so much love to give. If you think you have room in your home and heart for him, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website.
