Tokyo is a female cat between eight and ten years old.
She is currently in the care of the Scottish SPCA Glasgow Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, and is looking for her forever home.
The Scottish SPCA feel that the presence of other cats unsettles Tokyo. As she is worried by the other cats in the centre, she hasn’t been keen on making friends with the centre staff.
She can be very sweet and enjoys pets but can be spooked easily and get defensive. Given this, she would be best suited to a quiet home with no children or other pets.
Once she is in her new home, the Scottish SPCA are confident she will learn to relax and become a lovely companion. Her behaviours seem to be dependent on her environment as she is a lot more relaxed away from the cattery.
Tokyo would love an owner who has previous experience with nervous and anxious cats. If you think you can give her the perfect home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website.
