TROY has been with the Scottish SPCA since May 2018 so this lovely lurcher really needs to find his loving ever after.
He is a nice big lad with an equally big heart. He can be a little nervous when he initially meets someone new however once he knows you he is a gentle giant and you get the feeling he will be your friend for life.
Troy loves a fuss and to get patted and although he doesn’t seem to be interested in toys he is partial to some treats of the edible variety!
He walks well on his lead when there are no other dogs around. He knows some basic commands however he does still have a lot of learning to do, such as not jumping up to greet you but that’s just excitement of seeing someone familiar.
When he first arrived Troy was pretty indifferent to other dogs however as time has gone on he has shown he isn’t so comfortable around them so he would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
If you can give long timer Troy the loving home he deserves then please phone the Scottish SPCA centre in Edinburgh & Lothians on 03000 999 999.
