Jess is a sweet natured, five-year-old border collie who is looking for her forever home. She is currently in the care of the Scottish SPCA Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
Jess is friendly and seems happy to meet new people. She loves playing with a ball and going for walks. She is very cuddly and enjoys human interaction.
She previously lived as an outdoor dog so a new owner will need to keep this in mind when settling her in to a home environment, as she is not house trained.
She would benefit from having access to an enclosed garden so that she can go in and out for the toilet as often as needed.
Jess can be unsure of other dogs. She gets very obsessed with any dogs that she can see, no matter how far away they are.
She becomes incredibly fixated and will pay no attention to anything else.
A new owner will need to be aware of this and continue her socialisation. Jess would be incredibly difficult to walk in a town setting so would be ideally suited to a home in the country.
If you can offer Jess a loving home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/4499-jess
