Major is a big bundle of fun currently in the care of the Scottish SPCA Dunbartonshire and West Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, while he waits for a loving forever home.
He is a Staffordshire bull terrier and beagle cross, and is between three and five years old. Because of his age and breed he is a very active dog who needs a lot of exercise and loves attention.
Major suffers from separation anxiety, so would be best suited to a home where someone is around most of the day. He is also known to bark when left alone, and therefore would not be suited to a flat environment.
He is very friendly, sociable, and loves meeting new people and making new doggy friends, especially if they are female dogs. He is not great with all dogs he meets however, and can have poor manners at times.
Major would best suit a home with someone active, where there are no small children and no other pets.
If you think you can give Major the home he has been waiting for, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/4242-major
