Pet of the week: Merida the Welsh pony is looking for a new forever home

Merida is a very sweet Welsh pony who is looking for a stable to call her own.
When she arrived at the Scottish SPCA centre Merida was very shy. With some TLC and carrot bribery, she has started to come out of her shell and trust people more each day.
Potentially, when Merida is old enough, she could go on to be a ridden pony. Therefore her new home must have knowledge and experience dealing with younger horses.
Once Merida realises you are her friend, she will stand all day to be fussed over and thrives on attention.
Ideally Merida will go to a home where someone has the time and patience to help her come out of her shell even more, as so far, she has made great progress!
If you think you could give Merida the home she needs, contact the Aberdeenshire SSPCA centre on 03000 999 999
