The Scottish SPCA are currently caring for three overlooked snakes at their Angus, Fife and Tayside Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
Guillermo, Slider and Tolkien are sadly some of their longest residents.
Poor Tolkien has been looking for a new home since September 2019. He is a well-handled snake who eats and sheds well but has not had much interest.
Slider is a bright and active corn snake who is looking for an experienced snake owner as he can be a bit spirited at times. He has been with the Society for 312 days.
Guillermo is a young corn snake who has been at the centre for 196 days. She is just one year old and will need regular handling to build up her confidence.
If you think you can give either of these the home they have waited so long for, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website here.
