Sophie is a 10 year old cat who has been in the care of the Scottish SPCA since the beginning of the year.
This older girl was incredibly shy at first and it took a good while before she came round enough for the team to see her true personality.
Now she knows the staff, she is very affectionate and loves attention when they go in to speak to her.
She is still a very timid cat and still tends to hide under her blanket until she knows who is there.
She is unsure of being picked up and prefers to be left to do her own thing.
Ideally, the Scottish SPCA are looking for a quiet, adult only home for Sophie. Someone who has the love and patience for this shy girl and can help her with her confidence.
Due to her nature, the team feel she would really thrive being the only pet in the household.
Sophie is in the care of the Scottish SPCA’s Highlands and Islands Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
If you think you can offer her a loving home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website.
