Kingston is a six-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier cross, searching for an active home with an owner who loves to be outdoors and on the move as much as he does.
Kingston is currently in the care of the Scottish SPCA Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
Kingston gets on well with other animals and has previously lived with a cat, so could do so again upon successful introductions.
He enjoys company so much so that he suffers from separation anxiety.
He is looking for an owner who is home most of the day or can take him on errands with them.
His has a passion for the great outdoors and enjoys playing with his tennis ball and learning some fun dog agility.
Kingston can forget his manners sometimes when he becomes overly excited, and uses the your body as a ladder to get to your face for some extra kisses! For this reason, he would be best suited to an adult only home, or one with older children.
Kingston does have sensitive skin so is on a specific sensitive diet. This in has caused him to have sore ears in the past.
His new owner will need to take this in to consideration when re homing him, as he may require ongoing ear treatment in the future that can potentially become costly.
If you think you could be the match Kingston has been waiting for, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/3867-kingston
