A NEW set of stamps unveiled today by Royal Mail will honour the life of David Bowie.
The special tribute is made up of ten special stamps and is the first time an entire issue has been dedicated to an individual artist.
They will show images of Bowie’s famous album covers, including Hunky Dory and Aladdin Sane, as well as the star performing.
Royal Mail’s Philip Parker said: “For five decades David Bowie was at the forefront of contemporary culture, and has influenced successive generations of musicians, artists, designers and writers.
“Our stamp issue celebrates this unique figure and some of his many celebrated personas.”
The set goes on sale on March 14.
