POLICE area appealing for information from the public to help trace a 48 year-old woman from Troon who was last seen on Tuesday 10 April.
48-year-old Carol Rennie was last seen around 6.50 pm on Tuesday 10 April at an address on Wellbeck Crescent, Troon.
She is described as 5ft 8, of medium build with collar length fair hair.
When last seen she was wearing bright coloured sports leggings, a bright coloured sports top and a long grey puffer-style jacket with a furry hood.
Chief Inspector Gary I’Anson, Area Commander for South Ayrshire, said: “Carol’s family reported her missing around 10.30 am on Thursday 12 April 2018 after becoming increasingly concerned that they had not seen or heard from her.
“She doesn’t have a mobile phone or any money with her and therefore we don’t believe she will have travelled far from the Troon area.
“Carol has been dealing with some personal issues recently and therefore we are appealing to anyone who may know where she is, or have seen her in the area to come forward and contact us.
“We would also appeal to Carol herself to come forward and let the police or her family know she is safe and well.”
Anyone with information should contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 0920 of Thursday 12 April 2018.
