The adult male was stranded on the beach at Rosemarkie on the Black Isle last Monday having sustained numerous rakemarks and broken bones. The porpoise was recovered by the Scottish Marine Animal Stranding Scheme for tests. Results showed the animal was healthy before it was battered and bitten by bottlenose dolphins.
