BRUNO ALVES has become Pedro Caixinha’s first signing at Ibrox, Rangers have announced.
The Portuguese international defender jetted in for talks yesterday and has put pen to paper on a two year deal.
Alves told RangersTV: “I am very happy to join the club and I will do my best to win.
“The main reason that I come here, I have this feeling and desire to win and to move here will bring this back to me and my career.
“In almost all the clubs I have played for, I win and I expect to win here, for the fans, for the club and I think I can do this here.
“It is going to be an amazing journey, I am sure about that.”
The 35-year-old has had spells with Porto, AEK Athens, Zenit St Petersburg and Fenerbache and spent last season at Serie A side Cagliari.

“The club would like to thank Alves for what he has done in Cagliari and now wishes the greatest satisfaction for the rest of his career.
“Good luck, Bruno!”
