ALL eyes are on Stamford Bridge this evening as Chelsea take on Manchester City in the keenly-anticipated Premier League clash.
Can City inflict a second setback in the space of a few days on the leaders or will Antonio Conte’s side get back to winning ways?
Here’s what to expect from that and tonight’s other five games – do you agree with our predictions? Tweet @Sunday_Post using #PLScores
ARSENAL 2 WEST HAM 1
BOTH teams badly need a win for different reasons and in a close contest, Arsenal’s extra quality will make the difference.
CHELSEA 3 MANCHESTER CITY 1
PLAYING City could play right into Chelsea’s hands. Pep Guardiola’s team only know how to play one way –attack – and they need a win for their own last hopes of winning the title.
That approach could leave them extremely vulnerable to Chelsea’s counter attacks, where they could be picked off.
HULL 1 MIDDLESBROUGH 0
THIS is an absolute six-pointer at the bottom. Hull’s recent revival at home under Marco Silva and Boro’s inability to score might be the difference in a very tense affair.
LIVERPOOL 4 BOURNEMOUTH 2
THE last game between these two was very open and I’m expecting similar. Liverpool will have been buoyed by success in the Merseyside derby and top-four rivals dropping points and they should rack up an entertaining home win.
SOUTHAMPTON 1 CRYSTAL PALACE 1
HAVING won at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce will know the importance of keeping that momentum. A draw here would be acceptable.
SWANSEA 1 TOTTENHAM 2
TOTTENHAM simply have to forget about events at Stamford Bridge and concentrate on their own game. What must not happen is for City to do them a favour and they not win in South Wales. A narrow three points for Spurs.
