RANGERS full-back Lee Hodson is set to miss Saturday’s match against Celtic after suffering an injury during training.
According to the Daily Record, the Northern Ireland international is currently on crutches and awaiting full assessment of the damage caused.
It means teenager Myles Beerman is likely to start in his second Old Firm clash in a week.
Clint Hill should be fit for the game after recovering from a calf strain.
Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha also confirmed today that Niko Kranjcar has returned to full training.
The Croatian has been out with a torn ACL since October and won’t be in first team action until next season.
Caixinha told Rangers TV: “Niko Kranjcar came back to full training on Tuesday which is fantastic. That allows him to start his pre-season now and not when the rest of the squad do in a month or so time.”
